When you set yourself up for success the night before, your morning is sure to run smoother.
Light a candle or two and dim the lights in your bedroom and bath room.
Drink a glass of water.
Check that your kitchen sink is empty and clean.
Prep your coffee for the morning.
If you pack your lunch, go ahead and prepare it or at least part of it.
Take a warm shower or bath. Brush your hair and apply lotion to your body, feet and hands.
Lay out your clothes for tomorrow and double check that your alarm is on.
Stretch and take some deep breaths with your eyes closed for 5 minutes.
Make some tea and read a few chapters from a book or magazine.
Plug in your phone and leave it out of reach at least one hour before bed. .
Reflect on your day and focus on what you're grateful for.
