Bedtime Routine for a Smoother Tomorrow

When you set yourself up for success the night before, your morning is sure to run smoother.

  • Light a candle or two and dim the lights in your bedroom and bath room.

  • Drink a glass of water.

  • Check that your kitchen sink is empty and clean.

  • Prep your coffee for the morning.

  • If you pack your lunch, go ahead and prepare it or at least part of it.

  • Take a warm shower or bath. Brush your hair and apply lotion to your body, feet and hands.

  • Lay out your clothes for tomorrow and double check that your alarm is on.

  • Stretch and take some deep breaths with your eyes closed for 5 minutes.

  • Make some tea and read a few chapters from a book or magazine.

  • Plug in your phone and leave it out of reach at least one hour before bed. .

  • Reflect on your day and focus on what you're grateful for.
