Fresh Smoothies that will make you GLOW from the inside out!

Updated: Aug 6, 2021

I am leaving for Mexico in less than 2 weeks. I want to look and feel my best but 2 weeks doesn't leave me with a ton of time. So... I decided to swap out 2 meals a day for fresh, homemade smoothies to help me de-bloat, cut back on some calories/fats and promote vibrant skin and hair.

I got everything I needed at Whole Foods and use a Magic Bullet mixer to make them!

Here are my favorites so far (I made up the names, don't laugh at me)

  • Creamy DragonMelon: This smoothies is packed with vitamin c, fiber, antioxidants and magnesium! Helping to reduce inflammation, free radicals, cell damage; and helping to improve hydration, cell function, brain function, digestive system and bone health.

1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk

1 cup frozen dragon fruit chunks

1 cup fresh watermelon chunk

1tsp chia seeds

  • Sour Gummy: This smoothie includes passion fruit, which is known to improve eye, bone and heart health, reduce restlessness, soothe respiratory conditions and reduce anxiety due to it's hearty dose of magnesium. The watermelon will aid in hydration and overall skin health and the pineapple helps to reduce inflammation, reduce blood pressure and aid in digestion. I call it sour gummy because passion fruit is pretty sour, but adding a tsp. of regular sugar will help balance it out!

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 cup frozen passion fruit chunk

1 cup fresh or frozen watermelon chunks

1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple

1 tsp sugar

  • Chocolate Banana Split: This is my favorite around dinner time or as dessert because it's heartier and chocolatey! You won't even taste the spinach!

2 scoops chocolate protein powder of your choice

1/2 banana

2 tbsp. PB fit powder

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 cup spinach

1/2 cup almond milk

1 tsp. chia seeds

  • Daily Detox Morning Juice: I have to chug this one because its not my favorite but gives me so much energy, promotes skin health and de-bloats!

1/2 cup cucumber

2 cups water

1 cup fresh pineapple

1 clove of fresh ginger

  • Coconut Dream

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk

1 cup frozen dragon fruit

1 pack piatya frozen coconut

1 tsp. chia seeds

1/2 cup frozen strawberries

I will add to the list as I experiment with more recipes, but I hope you enjoy these! I would love to hear back if you try any yourself! Happy mixing!
